My practice goes beyond traditional "talk therapy" in that I believe in targeting the root of disturbances that have become frozen in the body. The space is held for you to heal the way your heart and brain was designed to do! If you are an adult, adolescent, or performer who constantly feels frozen, overwhelmed, or on high alert, I am here to help you find relief.

 

During the first session, we will begin some exercises and techniques that will serve as the foundation for the treatment moving forward. We will move at a speed that is comfortable, but challenging for your healing process.

I don't believe in a one size fits all approach. I am certified in several evidence based, somatic, and neurological modalities designed to help retrain and soothe your nervous system, including:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Brainspotting (Consultant-in-Training, helping other clinicians master this skill)

  • HeartMath biofeedback

  • Parts Work (Internal Family Systems informed)

  • TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

  • DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

Personal

I grew up in East Texas and have made DFW home since 2023. I attended LeTourneau University where I played collegiate golf while completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I have a Master of Arts degree from Ottaway University and Phoenix Seminary in Phoenix, Arizona.

I have 10 years of clinical experience working in Private Practice combined with serving the Children's Advocacy Center, Clinical Director of The Crisis Center of Cherokee and Anderson County, and First Tee Greater Tyler.
