What is the private pay fee per session?

Accepted Answer

$165 per 53 minute session for individual sessions for children(age 7) through adult

$165-$200 per 60-80 minute session for peak performance sessions. Insurance can be applied if medical necessity is determined.

Court Appearance Rate - $400 per hour

Will my health insurance cover therapy?

Accepted Answer

Yes! This practice now accepts the following insurance carriers: Blue Cross Blue Shield Texas, United HealthCare, Aetna, Cigna, Oscar Health, and Oxford. Superbills may be provided for clients wishing to reimburse with insurance not covered.

All services except peak performance sessions are covered under the listed health insurance plans.

We use a third party platform, Headway, to verify and bill insurance plans.

Is therapy the same for each client?

Accepted Answer

Therapy is not a one size fits all for everyone. Therefore, several modalities of therapy are used at this practice including: Brainspotting, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR, HeartMath, Parts Work, and more. Modalities are used based on the current needs of the client.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Accepted Answer

We accept cancellations at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. Please call us if you need to reschedule or cancel. Late cancellations will incur a $100 fee unless it's a major emergency that requires hospitalization(we require an official note) or you reschedule within the same business day or week (subject to availability).

A no-show will result in a full session charge of $165. Please note that insurance does not cover cancellation fees.

Question 6

Do I have to talk about my trauma?

Accepted Answer

No! While "talk therapy"can be helpful for some individuals, the research indicates that talking about past trauma may increase the disturbance for others. Modalities such as emdr and brainspotting can help you work through past trauma or disturbance with as much or little talking as you prefer!
